Add Ancient Grains to Your Diet

Looking to the past for inspiration, people are turning to “ancient grains” to modernize their cooking.

Ancient grains include grains, cereals, and seeds that have been grown, largely unmodified, for thousands of years. They provide many essential nutrients, including protein, fiber, and vitamins and minerals! Also, since they are whole grains, they are good sources of slowly-digested carbohydrates, which can help with controlling blood glucose levels.
