As summer is unfortunately coming to an end, make sure to savor the last days of the sunshine and hot weather! Instead of filling your last BBQ with platters of cheese and crackers, chips and guacamole, and other high calorie snacks, spice things up with a healthier alternative: SHISHITO PEPPERS!
Currently easy to find at the Farmer’s Market, these delicious peppers, which are an excellent source of vitamin C, can be sautéed in a cast iron skillet and make the perfect finger food for your guests. They **mostly** lack spice, but about 1 in 10 really pack a punch, so choose carefully!
